We’re a huge fan of the Buick lineup at Knight Automotive and all of the luxury it delivers. But we’re also fans of classic automobiles, and as America’s oldest active car brand, Buick has plenty of them. Here are our favorites.
1938 Buick Century
It’s not the car that Bonnie and Clyde died in, but it’s close. The handsome 1938 Buick Century was equipped with a 5.2-liter eight-cylinder engine, one of the best in its time.
The spunky 1950 Roadmaster had a sophisticated design and an unforgettably intense front grille with nine chrome, vertical pieces.
1963-1965 Buick Riviera
You can’t talk about vintage Buick cars without mentioning the gorgeous Buick Riviera luxury coupe. This sculpted car features low, sharp edges that have an unmistakably 1960s feel.
This coupe was Buick’s muscle car—sporty, eye-catching, and powered by a 7.5-liter V8 that delivered 350 horsepower.
1976 Buick Century Indianapolis 500 Pace Car
As Buick honed in on its performance engineering, this Buick Century set the standards. Its 3.8-liter V6 engine delivered 306 horsepower. Combined with its bright, colorful design, this 1976 Buick Century left an important and lasting impression in Buick history.
