The internet has become such a part of our daily lives that most of us probably feel disconnected when it’s not available. If you’re part of that crowd, then you’ll probably be excited to learn that 4G LTE connectivity in the 2016 Buick Enclave is now standard.
This feature turns the Enclave into a Wi-Fi hotspot that allows up to seven devices to connect at once. When you purchase the Enclave, or any 2016 Buick, it comes with a three-month/three-gigabyte data trial.
“Customers’ daily lives are so entwined with personal devices, so the addition of OnStar 4G LTE and its integral Wi-Fi hotspot is a feature they will rely on,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick, in a statement. “It allows busy people to stay connected throughout the day and provides another outlet for passenger entertainment on long trips.”
The 4G LTE connectivity is part of GM’s OnStar hardware. In addition to the data trial, Enclave customers also receive six months of the OnStar Guidance service as standard. You can also use the OnStar RemoteLink mobile app to stay connected with your Enclave and access vehicle information and control some vehicle functions.
The 2016 Buick Enclave will be coming to Knight Automotive later this year. Until then, check out the 2015 Buick Enclave on our lot!
